The goal of the Somatic Alignment Process is to restore the flow of energy throughout the body, which is essential for our overall well-being. The restoration of energy circulation reduces physical pain and supports you to adapt to situations or stressors in healthy ways. Energy is an integral part of existence. When oxygen fails to flow smoothly through the body, it can lead to chronic pain. The term energy can also be called chi, prana, circulation or can be referred to as oxygen, blood, or the movement of nerves. The practice adheres to a unique principle: cultivating a state of openness and expansion, replacing the state of contraction and closeness in our clients which profoundly influences various aspects of their lives. Somatic Alignment relies on three fundamental pillars Breath, Movement and Touch What to expect We then ease into the treatment by setting intentions and aligning with the breath. You’ll be lying down on a massage bed with a heated blanket, allowing your body to relax deeply as you gently breathe and settle into the space. Throughout the session, I take the role of an observer and space holder, supporting you with de-armouring techniques — a gentle, intuitive touch applied to specific areas of the body to help release energetic blockages and encourage the free flow of energy.
